As a Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating, documenting, and continuously improving training programs, systems, and documentation. Your responsibilities include validating that staff across the site are adequately trained, managing the training matrix documentation including food safety, HACCP, SQF, safety, etc. You will spend 60% of your day shadowing employees in the training program or those who have recently completed training, taking notes, and reporting on the effectiveness and improvements needed. The remaining 40% of your day will involve creating reports from your findings, assessing gaps, and the effectiveness of the training program, working in cross-functional teams to implement appropriate changes, and managing the matrix process and documentation.

The role requires flexibility with working hours between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m., as you will need to shadow and communicate with staff training on various shifts ranging from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The environment includes both manufacturing settings and some office work.
