Description: Dual administrative position - Director of Curriculum/Nokomis Principal. Candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Nokomis School (PK-2), as well as oversee the curricula and professional development of district staff. Candidates will also oversee the district's testing.

Qualifications: This position requires a New Jersey Principal's certification. The candidate must also meet NJ residency requirements. Medford Lakes is seeking an enthusiastic individual to serve as the educational leader in a progressive and collaborative learning environment. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, have a solid knowledge of effective instructional practices, be a team player, and the ability to maintain and foster positive relationships with all stakeholders. Must exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A minimum of two years administrative experience.

2. New Jersey Principal's Certificate.

3. Strong working knowledge of instructional practice.

4. Ability to build off our district's current curriculum and continue to move us forward.

5. Experience with evaluating staff.

6. An understanding of fiscal and organizational management.

7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

8. Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Job Goals: To provide the leadership that promotes the educational well-being of each student in the school by ensuring the development of staff, supervision and support of students, in connection with parents and community.
