SUMMARY OF JOB:
This Oncology Research Coordinator oversees research activities within the Redeemer Health Cancer Center. In this position, the research coordinator will manage and track proper and efficient conduct of clinical research while working intrinsically with Principal Investigators and the Clinical Research Associate. The research coordinator plays a key role in monitoring clinical trial participation to ensure patient safety, protocol compliance, and data quality. Research coordinator is responsible for adherence to all policies and procedures surrounding research and maintaining up to date knowledge on the policies from IRB, FDA, ICH, GCP or other sources.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Science or health care required.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ clinical research experience required.
CRC certification preferred or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
Citi research training required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team as well as independently.
Proven experience working in Clinical Trials setting and the ability to make high-level decisions under a fast paced environment.
Proven ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, extremely organized and meticulous with details. Experience working with study sponsor personnel a plus.
Advanced computer skills with Excel, Word, and competence with electronic medical databases.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and research laboratories as well as regulatory requirements helpful.
LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: Clinical Trials Research Coordinator will be under the direct supervision of the Cancer Center Nurse Manager and Principal Investigator (s).
