About AnthroMed Education

AnthroMed Education's mission is to empower schools through in-person speech therapy and special services, while creating an enriching and supportive environment for our team of SLPs to thrive. By bringing SLPs back into schools in person, we support every student's right to learn. In 2024, we were honored to be placed on Inc. Magazine's Fastest-Growing Companies in America list. We will continue to expand our speech-therapy teams, focusing on the needs of our SLPs and creating the most supportive environment possible. Discover today why AnthroMed Education apart

Ways You Will Help AnthroMed Education's Team of Speech-Language Pathologists

  • Community and Team Building: Create and build a supportive environment and community of like-minded SLPs.
  • Therapy Resource Provision: Provide valuable content and information to our team of SLPs.
  • Student Caseload Support: Offer specialized 1-on-1 consultations for challenging situations our SLPs encounter throughout the school year, providing continuous guidance.
  • Professional Development: Collaborate with our Clinical Support leaders to enhance professional development and continuing education, such as helping us become an ASHA Certified CEU provider.

Our team is dynamic, fun, and committed to changing and improving the role we play with our K-12 school partners. It consists of leading experts in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Speech-Language Pathology, and Social Work. Unlike many other firms, many of our team members helping us grow and expand are former SLPs and clinicians who have firsthand experience with the challenges in schools. We currently provide services in eight different states and build meaningful relationships within both the speech-language pathology and special education communities. Since our founding in 2019, we have hired and supported hundreds of SLPs and Related Services Providers, and we are excited to invite others to join us on our journey to innovate and improve these services and student outcomes in K-12 schools through our work at AnthroMed Education.

The Position: SLP Success Manager, Clinical Support

AnthroMed Education is looking for a highly motivated, clinically driven SLP with a passion for helping SLPs, whether they are Clinical Fellows or experienced veterans in our field. This is a support-focused role within a small but mighty team, with goals oriented around Community and Team Building, Content and Therapy Materials Creation, Caseload Support, and Continuing Education. You will work closely with our Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams and help make decisions that shape the company's future while reporting to our Director of Clinical Support, a 10+ year veteran in the SLP field.

You will be working in a fast-paced, early-stage, growing company where your support, attention to our SLPs' needs, and enthusiasm for making their experience at AnthroMed Education second to none will be valued. This is a highly interactive, hands-on position where you will make a real difference with SLPs and schools alike. Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices is a must, and an outgoing, confident, fun, and engaging personality is vital to this position and our team. Most importantly, this SLP Success Manager must bring empathy, care, and knowledge of all things school-based and pediatric therapy to provide a unique, lasting, and special experience to AnthroMed's team of SLPs.

Responsibilities:
  • SLP Support: Ensure the success of our team of SLPs by working closely with them throughout the school year, providing support and guidance as they navigate the 2024-2025 school year.
  • Professional Development: Ensure the professional growth and development of our SLPs by proactively creating opportunities for learning and providing feedback and guidance each school year.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within a fast-growing team, contributing positively to our efforts to expand our reach to new states and schools.
  • Clinical Support Initiatives: Own various clinical support initiatives alongside the rest of the clinical support team.
  • Operational Support: Perform operational functions to support the leadership team, such as research, creating presentations, representing AnthroMed at conferences, documentation, and more.
  • Graduate and Clinical Fellow Support: Support new graduates and Clinical Fellow SLPs with training, school site visits, managing the licensure process, etc.
  • Caseload Management: Be omnipresent in addressing ongoing caseload challenges with our staff of SLPs in schools and participate in 1:1 support session with an assigned team of SLPs.
  • Team Meetings: Assist AnthroMed's Clinical Support Director in bi-monthly team meetings with SLP staff. Bring new ideas and topics, and actively participate as a subject matter expert.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-8+ years of Speech-Language Pathology experience required.
  • School-based experience required.
  • Illinois SLP license with IDFPR, ISBE PEL license, and active CCC-SLP with ASHA required.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, creative, and strong ability to positively influence others are qualities we value and strongly prefer.
  • Must be willing to travel to schools occasionally throughout the school year, work year-round, and represent AnthroMed Education at important SLP-related events, such as the national ASHA conference, ISHA, etc.
