We're looking for a Data Analyst with a curious mindset and self-starter attitude to excel in our fast-paced startup environment. Collaborating with our business and product teams, you'll dive into player data to uncover insights and identify growth opportunities for our game. You Will

Become extremely familiar with the product, taking time to explore the experience and play regularly, asking questions about how different personas might experience it as you go

Perform deep dive investigations to set baselines for and uncover trends and opportunities within spaces such as user personas, feature engagement, and purchase behavior

Build writeups and visualizations to communicate findings, and present these to core stakeholders, following up as needed to clarify additional questions

Manage ad hoc analysis requests from across the team, ensuring they are organized, prioritized, and answered to maximize awareness of and benefit from their findings

Regularly check in on trends, such as growth of core KPIs, seasonality, and feature usage to update the company on changes or opportunities within these patterns, and set up recurring reports to share these regularly with relevant audiences

Research and compare our business performance to competitors, in close coordination with the marketing department

You Are

Experienced - 3+ years in data analytics, with a focus on product analytics and user experiences

Proficient in SQL, Python, and BI tools such as Amplitude/Looker/PowerBI/Mixpanel

Curious - You like to pull on threads to really get to the core of questions, and find satisfaction in answering them

Agile - You have experience and thrive in startup-style environments, working best on small, fast-moving, dynamic teams and managing competing priorities

Proactive - You are self-driven and always keeping an eye out for potential projects and opportunities to investigate

A storyteller - You present your findings in a way that creates a cohesive narrative, to allow understanding and action by stakeholders

Bonus Points

You have experience in the gaming industry, especially with products focusing on retention and depth of engagement

You play virtual, indoor and/or real, green-grass golf and love the game
