Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with environmental personnel at both site and regional levels, alongside operations, maintenance, and engineering leadership, to seamlessly integrate environmental standards into plant-level protocols.
  • Review and analyze environmental documentation issued by regulatory agencies.
  • Determine impact on operations, and publish compliance strategies and requirements.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities to address compliance concerns, establish permit prerequisites, and provide support during regulatory inspections.
  • Develop environmental management systems to facilitate an increase in understanding and accountability to ensure compliance with program requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent field required.
  • Must have an uncompromising drive for compliance and willingness to escalate issues as needed.
  • Experience working with Environmental Management Systems.
