Job Title: Sr Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr Accountant to join our team. The role requires in-person attendance from Monday to Friday. The interview process consists of a single step, with candidate feedback provided within 24-48 hours post-interview.

Responsibilities:

Deliver full cycle accounting: Monthly Income statement, Balance sheet, Financial indicators.

Deliver quarterly financial summaries and indicators.

Classify, allocate, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records.

Conduct monthly reconciliation of accounts.

Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.

Assist with bookkeeping tasks including AR, AP, PR, and journal entries.

Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers and from customers.

Ensure timely renewal and payment of business licenses.

Assist in preparing, reviewing, and revising monthly financial statements for the CEO.

Record and appropriately process payments in the system.

Reconcile bank statements.

Assist with payroll entry and ensure accurate and timely payroll journal entries.

Process and file quarterly and year-end payroll tax reports and documents.

Maintain accurate vendor and third-party consultant information.

Process year-end 1099s and complete 1096 filings.

Coordinate accounting system accuracy with external CPA or equivalent tax professional.

Follow state and federal tax codes and regulations.

Monitor checking and saving balances in the bank.

Maintain a constant state of alertness and work in a safe manner.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Hard Skills

+ 5-10 years of operational accounting experience

+ Experience with AP, AR, and Payroll

+ Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes

+ Experience with Tier1/Tier 2 ERP Software

+ Industrial Industry Segment experience with exposure to Inventory/Inventory Management

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivots & VLOOKUPS)

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Work Environment

Small team of 40-50 people, all in office. The accounting team consists of the office admin, controller, and the CEO. This position will report directly to the CEO
