If you're ready to bring your storytelling and design skills to the forefront of AR/VR, our client has the perfect role for you. We're looking for an AR/VR Content Creator (aka The Immersive Storyteller) to design and produce immersive content that pushes the boundaries of interactive media.

As an AR/VR Content Creator at our client, you'll work closely with designers, developers, and storytellers to create interactive worlds, realistic 3D assets, and immersive experiences for a variety of applications, from entertainment and education to training and marketing. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in crafting experiences that are visually stunning, interactive, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Develop Immersive AR/VR Content:
  • Create 3D assets, environments, and interactive elements for AR/VR applications. You'll bring concepts to life, ensuring they are visually compelling and functionally intuitive within immersive environments.
Develop and Implement Interactive Storytelling Techniques:
  • Craft immersive narratives and interactive scenarios that engage users and enhance the overall experience. You'll use storytelling techniques to guide users through AR/VR worlds in a meaningful way.
Collaborate on User Experience and Interface Design:
  • Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive interfaces that work seamlessly in 3D spaces. You'll ensure the user experience is smooth, with well-placed cues and clear navigation within virtual environments.
Optimize Content for Performance and Platform Compatibility:
  • Ensure that assets and scenes are optimized for performance across various devices, including VR headsets, AR-enabled smartphones, and tablets. You'll focus on maintaining quality without compromising responsiveness.
Integrate Sound, Animation, and Special Effects:
  • Add sound design, animations, and visual effects to enhance the realism and immersion of AR/VR content. You'll collaborate with sound designers and animators to create a cohesive sensory experience.
Test, Debug, and Refine AR/VR Experiences:
  • Conduct usability tests to ensure smooth functionality, user-friendliness, and compatibility with various devices. You'll gather feedback, troubleshoot issues, and refine content for the best possible experience.
Stay Updated on AR/VR Tools and Content Trends:
  • Keep up with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in AR/VR content creation. You'll continuously seek to innovate and improve, incorporating the latest advancements into your work.
Requirements

Required Skills:
  • 3D Modeling and Texturing Expertise: Proficiency in 3D modeling tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, with knowledge of texturing and UV mapping to create realistic assets.
  • Experience with AR/VR Platforms and Engines: Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other AR/VR development platforms to build immersive applications.
  • Storytelling and Interaction Design Skills: Ability to create engaging narratives and interactive elements that guide users through immersive experiences.
  • Optimization and Performance Tuning: Knowledge of asset optimization and performance tuning for AR/VR platforms, including mobile and VR headsets.
  • Basic Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with C# or Blueprint scripting in Unity/Unreal Engine for implementing interactivity and controlling elements within the experience.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Game Design, 3D Art, or a related field. Equivalent experience in AR/VR content creation may be considered.
  • Relevant coursework or certifications in AR/VR development, storytelling, or interactive media design are advantageous.
Experience Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation for AR/VR or immersive media, with a portfolio showcasing engaging, high-quality AR/VR experiences.
  • Experience with cross-platform development for AR/VR applications on mobile devices, VR headsets, or AR glasses.
  • Familiarity with sound design or basic animation techniques for AR/VR environments is a plus.
