enhance the performance and reliability of our products.

Essential Functions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the structural layout, structural sizing into

conceptual design and through detail design. • Partner with manufacturing team to generate fabrication and assembly work instructions. • Analyzing structural loads on both composite laminates, metallic structures, and plastic

components using empirical methods, hand calculations, finite element analysis (FEA). • Conduct static and dynamic structural analyses using finite element analysis (FEA) tools. • Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external

stakeholders. • Supporting flight test planning, test execution, and aircraft modifications • Identify and implement innovative solutions to complex structural engineering challenges. • Develop, review, and approve structural designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards

and regulatory requirements. • Develop structural design guides and toolsets that can be used by other engineers. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies • Foundational knowledge of aircraft load paths and structural sizing • Expert understanding of the theory and practical application of composite structures and their

application to aircraft • Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) toolsets such as FEMAP or NASTRAN. • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, NX, or CATIA). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work with multiple engineering disciplines on an aggressive schedule. • Ability to be flexible in various work scenarios to adjust priorities needed to meet evolving

requirements and challenges. • Demonstrative ability to be proactive and take initiate during day-to-day tasks • Ability work independently, confidently making decisions to guide other towards project goals

Education / Certifications • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or

related field. • Master's Degree us a plus.

Experience • 8+ years of structural engineering experience • Proven experience in structural analysis and design, preferably in aerospace industry. • Hands-on design and build experience. • Rapid prototyping experience. • Defense industry experience is a plus
