Responsibilities

•Bookkeeping: Record all Clubs financial transactions accurately and ensure that entries are posted correctly in the accounting system.

•Bank & Cash Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded, and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

•Perform general ledger accounting and maintain financial records.

•Support the month-end and year-end close processes

•Reclassify Entry to correct GL to match budget.

•Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations of financial transactions.

•Manage accounting Inbox.

•Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as needed.

•General Admin (FPL Setup/ prepaid set up etc.)

Professional Qualifications

  • Must have prior experience in Accounting Functions as well as Finance knowledge managing tasks and projects to timely completion.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts, including debits/credits & accruals
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when recording financial transactions and preparing reports.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadline.
•Outstanding Excel skills
  • Education: Major degree in accounting
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting
