SUMMARY
The Medical Office Associate is a key team member, supporting the clerical and secretarial duties of several clinic practices in this multi-specialty group (including General Surgery, ENT, Bariatrics, and Nutrition). Specific job duties include:
- processing patient referrals to specialists
- screening and sorting mail
- greeting patients and visitors and answering phones and responding to routine questions
- checking out patients and scheduling follow-up appointments
- preparing and maintaining patient charts for office appointments
- and much more

QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school graduate or equivalent with medical office training or equivalent experience preferably in a health care medical office.
2. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
* Work performed in climate-controlled, indoor setting 80.00%
* Frequently required/prolonged sitting, standing or walking 80.00%
