This role provides direct patient care and clinical support to physicians and other providers in the outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares patients for exams and procedures, collects vital information, and maintains accurate patient records
- Assists physicians and other healthcare professionals with technical procedures and tasks
- Performs clerical duties such as scheduling, billing inquiries, and patient communications
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
Education and Experience:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
