**Job Title: EH&S Specialist****Job Description**As an EH&S Specialist, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, and conformance to ISO standards. You will proactively take ownership of EHS-related issues, concerns, improvements, and program development across the organization. Your role includes evaluating new manufacturing processes and technologies, making recommendations on employee safety, potential environmental requirements, and applicable building impacts. You will implement methods, programs, controls, and safeguards to promote a safe work environment, and lead the implementation of various EHS programs. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise, guide in handling EHS challenges, reduce risks, engage employees in safety programs, perform EHS assessments, manage EHS risk assessments, and lead in-house emergency response activities. You will also chair the site Safety Committee, Emergency Response Team, and participate in Operational Excellence activities, and interface with regulatory agencies on assigned EHS matters.**Hard Skills**+ Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment**Soft Skills**+ Excellent communication skills**Job Type**This is a contract position with a duration of 2 Year(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Santa Clara, California.**Work Environment**The role is based in an office space environment within a medical device manufacturing setting.
