Wonderful family of 5 in Sands Point NY are looking for a long term, live-in Housekeeper/ Nanny.

Start date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 7:30 or 8pm. Flexibility for earlier or later finish.
Compensation: Salary at $80 - $100k + BOE per year paid weekly through payroll, 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 sick days, 6 paid federal holidays.
Accommodations: Private bedroom with attached full bath in the family home
Children: 4.5yo, 2.5yo, 7 month old

Mom is a SAHM, and Dad works full time out of the home, perhaps with 1 or 2 days per week working from home.

Primary duties of this role will include

  • All regular and deep cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms)
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Laundry
  • Babysitting when needed (older children are at school/ after school activities) most of the day
  • Basic cooking is a bonus - Mom does most of the cooking, but a candidate with some of their own recipes or able to follow basic recipes would be very helpful and a strong bonus.


With the current schedule, the middle of the day will be mostly dedicated to housekeeping with breaks throughout. If Babysitting is required during the day, Housekeeping will NOT be expected to also be completed at the same time).
Generally, the role will be around 70% housekeeping, 30% childcare.

The family has a small dog (Yorkie/ Maltese) - no feeding or walking required, but refilling her water bowl is great

A candidate open to domestic travel for 1 - 2 weeks max would be great but is not a firm requirement. E.g. this family goes to The Hamptons for 1 week at the end of summer.

All regular vaccinations required, including annual Flu shot.
Driving not required.
