Our client, a hedge fund in Greenwich CT, is seeking a Trade Assistant. Please note this is a junior role intended for candidates with 1-2 years of experience.

The ideal candidate will have 1?2 years of experience working on a trading desk or within an operations group. Hedge Fund experience and knowledge of Enfusion a plus.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual who embraces a fast?paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Execute trades in accordance with the PMs instructions across various product types (equities,
  • derivatives, baskets, etc.)
  • Support all other aspects of trading, including monitoring and systematic rebalancing of account specific investment guidelines, portfolio rebalancing and hedging
  • Support equity capital markets and secondary trading
  • Assist the PM/Analysts with market color, major economic data, company news/research and ad hoc requests
  • Manage counterparty relationships, including outsourced trading firms, research providers and global execution counterparts
  • Maintain stock loan availability analysis and serve as the primary point of contact for sec lending relationships
  • Manage commission budget for sell side counterparties and coordinate the quarterly broker vote
  • Maintain various internal reporting metrics and scorecards for the PM
  • Monitor and maintain earnings calendars and previews
  • Compile analyst idea generation tracking and reporting for the PM
  • Assist with Internal risk reporting and factor analysis
  • Assist with trade allocations and related communications with executing brokers
