SUMMARY

Eagle Eye Electric, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Analyst to provide support to the proposal estimating team. This position supports the Business Development Cost Team by reviewing cost proposals and will provide some supplemental support in the generation of complex financial spreadsheets for cost proposals in response to RFPs. Remote work available.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
  • This role is primarily responsible for the review and quality assurance of cost models developed prior to leadership review and submission.
  • This position will coordinate with functional area experts to determine necessary resources for projects. Responsibilities include gathering details, compiling, and analyzing data to estimate all costs to meet RFP specifications.
  • This position will collaborate with fellow estimating personnel to ensure all processes and procedures align with the BSNC estimating manual.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
  • Must have advanced proficiency in MS Excel, or estimating database is mandatory.
  • Must be task-oriented, self-motivated with the inherent ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work as a team member.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
  • Strong knowledge of Service Contract Act, Collective Bargaining Agreements, Davis Bacon, Defense Base Act, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other government-related applicable standards and regulations is desirable.
  • Proficiency in the development of Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Ability to analyze workload data and accurately compile it into a cost estimate.
  • Strong ability to write and edit compliant and responsive cost narratives utilizing MS Word.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring the quality and accuracy of cost models.
Preferred
  • 10 years of experience in cost estimate development, payroll, job costing, or a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree or demonstrated progress towards a degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field is also desired.
