JR & Co.'s value for employees, customers, and the community is what sets us apart in the roofing and construction industry.What We Offer:Competitive pay, excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, life insurance, 401K with a company match, and moreEssential Job Functions:Perform inspections of jobs while providing accountability, visiting jobs sites daily, motivating foremenAttend pre-construction meeting/pre-job walkthrough with Project Manager and/or ForemanSet up job site properly to maintain OSHA safety standards and ensure worker safety and complianceSchedule materials, equipment, and deliveries, using inventoried materials as much as possibleAssist with personnel planning and assignment of crew members to foreman and jobsProactively problem solve to avoid work impacts and reduce inefficienciesTrack and communicate project completion percentage to accounting for monthly billingWork closely with Quality Control, Safety Management, Inspectors, and ManufacturersConduct/participate in weekly project meetings for scheduling, discussions, and issue resolution and submitting weekly reportsComplete projects on time and in the most cost-efficient way (under budget desirable)Perform final quality inspection walk-through prior to crew demobilizationEducation, Skills and Experience:5-10 years in construction and commercial roofing industry2 years of leadership/team management experienceOSHA 30 Hour Training (Or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment)Certification for rigging, signaling, and operating equipment preferredAbility to read and understand architectural plans, shop drawings and specificationsTime Managementgreat time management; able to prioritize and meet deadlinesWork Environment/Physical Requirements:Primarily outdoor environments in all types of weather (approximately 90% fieldwork) with minimal indoor office work (approximately 10%)Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greaterFrequent bending, kneeling, walkingOvertime and weekend workNotice of E-Verify Participation and Pre-Placement Drug ScreeningJR & Co.
