Senior Manager Product Marketing, Specialty Alloys
Reporting to
the Director of Product Marketing – Filler Metals, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for the growth and profitability of ~$140M product line for the North American region. Managing Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Low-alloy carbon steel-based filler metal products.
Primary Duties:
Own assigned business line to deliver end-to-end growth and profitability including driving both strategic and tactical pricing.
Identify and deploy strategies for the existing offerings while managing their product lifecycle.
Define target segments to pursue. Map needs for these segments and, in collaboration with global product marketing and engineering, translate these needs into offerings and services roadmaps.
Update marketing material and collaterals to clearly demonstrate ESAB’s value proposition for target segments while illustrating the solution approach for these segments.
Work with regional sales teams to implement an effective commercial strategy to drive sales revenue in these segments including participating in customer visits.
Collaborate with marketing communication to innovate ways to reach and deliver the value proposition message to target customers.
Recommend solutions to customers as a subject matter expert in welding specialty alloys.
Define and grow alternate channels to market.
Collaborate with supply chain and other stakeholders to make delivery, quality, and servicing performance a key competitive differentiator.
Provide related training to sales, field marketing and channel partners.
Qualifications:
MBA or related comparable education, 5+ years’ experience in product management, marketing, or sales roles.
Experience with stainless steel alloys within the fabrication industry.
Engineering degree in Welding, Metallurgy, Mechanical or related fields.
Excellent communication skills.
Travel up to 30% (US, Canada and Mexico).
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA, now and in the future. Sponsorship/transfer is not available for this role.
