What Will I be Doing?

The Accountant performs accounting functions associated with the recording of transactions and production of financial statements for assigned business units, including general accounting, Benefit, Payroll, payable, G&A, Accounts Receivable, Accruals and Allocations. Provide accounting support to various shared services departments. Prepare journals entries daily and prepare account reconciliations monthly. Attend meetings as needed. Provide variance analysis for balance sheet and income statement monthly for assigned areas. Assist in preparation and review of Internal and external audit requests.

You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Prepare and record journal entries per established policy related to assigned entities.
  • Assist the leadership team in performing monthly closings process.
  • Prepare accruals monthly.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations related to assigned entities. Determine correcting entries for reconciling items.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and record journal entries to clear outstanding items.
  • Maintain and monitor various schedules as required by management.
  • Assists co-team members and internal customers with financial information.
  • Always provides the highest quality of service to internal customers.

  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Knowledge of automated accounting systems
  • 4-Yr College Degree in Accounting
