Job SummaryAs a Physician Leader with Vandalia Health Network, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining relationships and impacting clinical strategies and workflows that promote practice and patient satisfaction and improve value-based healthcare delivery. This role will work in delivering quality health outcomes while reducing overall cost. This role requires demonstrated excellence in creating buy-in with internal and external stakeholders to promote and affect change in the way healthcare is delivered.Your Footprint:Lead clinical engagement in each quality program served, partnering with the clinical team and practice transformation team to drive performance improvement in value-based care within each participating practice in Vandalia Health Network.Engage and motivate physicians and practices to achieve meaningful quality improvements and reduce health care utilization.Conduct clinical calls to foster relationships with physicians and staff, identify and disseminate best practices, dig into clinical workflows, troubleshoot challenging individual patients, and brainstorm solutions.Provide coaching, skill building and mentorship to practices optimizing management of patients in their care.Participate and lead the Vandalia Health Network Board of Manager Meetings.Assess areas of greatest opportunity with practices and identify areas for potential changes, enhancements, or new programs.Coach and mentor to expand influence, meet regularly with each provider champion in the network to troubleshoot practice problems and issues and provide strategic direction and support.Spread best practices and sponsor provider collaboration.Work closely with ACO teams to develop intervention plans and review KPIs.Assist in building strategic partnerships.Promote customer satisfaction within the network.Assist with regional recruitment of top practices for network expansion.Stay at the forefront of value-based care to gain new ideas.Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with local providers, steering them towards alignment with our value-based initiatives.Utilize analytics and insights to evaluate and optimize market performance and operational strategies continuously.Expand our organizational influence by connecting with local health systems, payers, and other key stakeholders.Develop and mentor the local team to ensure readiness and alignment with market and organizational goals.Use analytics and medical economic insights to make informed decisions, identify enhancement opportunities, and realize shared savings and high-quality patient outcomes.Launch and manage improvement initiatives based on performance data and analytical insights to heighten operational efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure clear, efficient organizational structure and information flow to facilitate quick decision-making and effective execution of strategies.Develop strategic roadmaps with clear sprints for improvement, conduct internal benchmarking for performance measurement, and create personalized strategies that can be standardized into playbooks.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesPatient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact)The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.Competency StatementMust demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist.Common Duties and Responsibilities(Essential duties common to all positions)1.
