Job Summary The Wire Desk Manager (WDM) will support the Operations Administration Officer (OAO) in providing operational support to the wire desk to ensure that the organization meets the operational mission and strategic objectives set forth by the Board and CEO in a safe and sound manner. Essential Job Duties Wire Desk Support • Serves as a primary escalation resource for wire desk personnel. • Ensures quality control within the wire desk. • Delivers customer centric results while doing so in a safe and sound manner. • Develops and maintains expertise in the banking systems including Wire Systems, Core Systems, Cash Management products/services, etc. Change Management and Reporting • Maintains wire desk process lifecycles including process creation, documentation, and maintenance. • Grows and improves the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures through identifying inefficiencies and effect change to remedy the issues. • Responsible for ad-hoc programs, projects, and analyses. • Systematically evaluates the output of wire desk at least annually and reports the results of the evaluation to the OAO Compliance • Ensures that all issues arising from regulatory examinations, in-house or third-party audits and departmental reviews are resolved within an acceptable time frame and to the satisfaction of the finding party. • Serves as a mentor for the wire desk and Central Services personnel and bankers. Specific Core Competencies • Expert background in wire desk operations and controls. • Detail-oriented and experienced in guiding the department staff in following internal and external regulatory requirements while initiating policies, procedures and processes to ensure adherence to Bank, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, enforce compliance and take action when necessary. • Strong exposure to banking systems, vendors, and data processing services. Job Qualifications Must be able to perform all the essential duties of the position satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in a financial services setting. • Background in data analysis and process documentation creation and maintenance. • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Computer & Software Skills • Must have foundational computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook email and calendaring) and the Internet. Travel • Occasional local travel Additional Information: Annual Salary range: Min $75,000 to Max $105,000
