Wie ben jij

In de afgelopen jaren heb jij met veel plezier en passie mogelijk een master opleiding afgerond in mechanical/ electrical engineering en zou jij hierin graag verder willen doorgroeien en ontwikkelen binnen de business, aan tafel bij de klant en potentieel nieuwe klanten.

De rol

Je zult betrokken worden bij de meest innovatieve onderzoeken en projecten die spelen bij onze klanten. Onze klanten zijn wereldwijd actief binnen snel innoverende markten. Omdat wij beschikken over een groot portfolio aan mogelijkheden voor onze klanten zul je uitgedaagd worden om out of the box mee te denken met de klant. Geen enkel project zal hetzelfde zijn waardoor de afwisseling in je werk groot en veelzijdig is. De rol is opgedeeld in twee delen waarvan het grootste deel gericht is op support consultancy. Je zoekt daarin veelvoudig de samenwerking op met de klant en het technische support team. Vanuit hier word je op continue basis geacht de business verder uit te bouwen en waar mogelijk in contact te staan met de markt om ook nieuwe klanten aan te trekken.

Omdat wij een snelgroeiende organisatie zijn verwacht wij dat jij, als een echte teamplayer, in staat bent om vanaf dag één grote verantwoordelijkheid op je te kunnen nemen. Eentje waarbij jij op een resultaatgerichte manier, samen in een team, weet te excelleren in het bouwen van sterke klantrelaties. Je beschikt over zelfstandigheid, motivatie maar zeker ook zelf reflectie om voortdurend te willen verbeteren en je doelen te bereiken.

Je wordt een collega in het team van Chiel, een manager die jou wil bijstaan en faciliteren, om te groeien en te ontwikkelen, binnen deze rol. Hij zal je tegelijkertijd ook de vrijheid en ruimte geven het zelf te doen. Naast het team van Chiel zul je ook onderdeel worden in het internationale simulations team van Thomas en Bjorn in Zweden en het support team in Nederland.

Takenoverzicht

De taken bestaan uit twee onderdelen:

1. Je werkt samen met het technische team waarin je support consultancy uitvoert met bijvoorbeeld het bedenken van simulatieoplossingen* voor klanten, de diepte ingaan met voorbereiden van demo's en het adviseren en presenteren van oplossingen met behulp van software. Dit zal om en nabij 60-70% van de tijd zijn.

2. Het tweede deel bestaat uit commerciële taken zoals het managen van nieuwe opportunities bij potentiële klanten. Denk hierbij aan het creëren van extra waarde doormiddel van upsell en new business development. Ons marketing team ondersteund met bestaande campagnes waarbij nieuwe kansen worden gecreëerd. Hierbij benader je potentiële geïnteresseerden die via de website of een campagne interesse tonen in softwareoplossingen. Om en nabij 30-40% van de tijd.

*Als Simulations Consultant Business Development in de Benelux regio staat de toepassing van het SIMULIA, het portfolio van marktleidende softwareproducten van Dassault Systèmes voor technische simulaties zoals Abaqus, CST Studio Suite, Tosca, SIMPACK, Isight, fe-safe en Powerflow centraal. Jij helpt bestaande en nieuwe klanten met het gebruik van deze software, maar werkt ook de business case uit voor nieuwe klanten waarbij jij ze adviseert hoe simulatie uitdagingen op te lossen.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden • Het supporten van het technische team met consultancy voor het uitwerken van oplossingen zoals demo's • Het helpen van bestaande klanten met vragen over simulatieoplossingen en technische support hoe bijvoorbeeld de software optimaal te gebruiken • Samenwerken met ons internationale technische support team om technische cases uit werken • Ontwikkeling van kennis in simulatieoplossingen die wij bieden • Het actief beheren en laten groeien van de salesfunnel, het ontwikkelen van nieuwe business. • Het bezoeken van branchebeurzen (waarvoor mogelijk reizen naar het buitenland nodig is).

Wat verwachten wij van jou • Masterdiploma in een mechanical engineering/ electrical engineering of bachelordiploma met gewenst enkele jaren FEA-ervaring • 1-3 jaar werkervaring in solution selling binnen het liefst een commercieel/ projectmanagement technische rol • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel spreken als schrijven • Rijbewijs
