POSITION PURPOSE
The Sales Manager, Hydration role requires an experienced and dynamic sales professional who is a motivated "hunter" with a strong business development focus, capable of driving new business and retaining existing clients in the petrochemical and construction sectors. The successful candidate will possess exceptional relationship-building skills, operational experience, and a hands-on approach to sales management. Demonstrates our "True North" attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no nonsense communication and utilization of facts, servant leadership and has a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the petrochemical and construction industries. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, and leveraging industry contacts.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining regular communication.
- Retain and grow existing client accounts by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring consistent delivery of services.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery. Understand operational processes and integrate them into the sales strategy to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Quickly learn and understand our products and services. Develop compelling selling stories that highlight the benefits and value propositions to potential clients.
- Track and manage small projects effectively. Provide detailed reporting and insights to the team, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Utilize strong networking skills to build and expand a network of contacts within the industry. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's offerings and build relationships.
- Ownership of the sales process and outcomes. Demonstrate a "can do" attitude and a hands-on work ethic, ensuring all sales activities align with the company's strategic goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 10 years sales experience, ideally with the petrochemical or construction industries.
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This is an individual contributor role with no direct supervision responsibilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
25% travel required to meet with customers and attend industry events. Typical office environment, generally sedentary position using computers, calculators, phones, and other office equipment. This position works in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships, and reason through complex business situations is essential.
