Overview Placement Type: Temporary Salary: $49.50-55 Hourly Start Date: 12.15.2025 Join a global leader in safety science as a Procurement Specialist You will play a vital role in optimizing sourcing strategies and building strong supplier relationships, directly impacting the company's bottom line and operational efficiency. Your expertise will be essential in navigating complex procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain. This is a remote opportunity. Candidates must be located in the United States and able to work normal business hours in the Central Time Zone. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for: Leading the strategic sourcing process, from supplier selection and onboarding to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management. Conducting thorough market analysis and spend data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment between procurement activities and business objectives. Managing supplier performance, service level agreements, and contract compliance to mitigate risk and maximize value. Staying abreast of industry trends, new products, and innovative materials to introduce cost-effective solutions. Maintaining and expanding a reliable network of suppliers, fostering competition and ensuring business continuity. Leveraging your expertise in purchasing principles, negotiating techniques, and contract law to secure favorable terms and conditions. Must-Have Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 2+ years of procurement experience. Proficiency in Excel for spend data analysis and market analysis. Demonstrated ability to lead sourcing teams. Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, purchasing principles, negotiation techniques, and contract law. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle ERP system. The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $49.50-$55 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
