Job Overview Lead Manufacturing Engineer at GE Aerospace develop cutting?edge ceramic matrix composite (CMC) products and technology for aircraft engines, hypersonics, and other aerospace applications. Key Responsibilities Provide knowledge sharing, innovation, and technology guidance to product, material application, and design teams. Synthesize and communicate research and development results; prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers. Support business development activities as needed. Prioritize and complete process engineering projects to achieve product delivery, technology maturation, and process risk reduction (D/PFMEA). Develop subject?matter expertise on process mechanisms; apply learning to solve problems and protect intellectual property (IP). Apply creativity to develop processes and approaches that meet customer and product requirements. Maintain focus on practical application of processes for current and future program/product requirements. Obtain and maintain a US Government DoD Security Clearance. Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of engineering/manufacturing experience and a minimum of 3 years of engineering/manufacturing experience.
