ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Internships at Jackson Spalding are a great opportunity for recent college graduates to gain valuable public relations, advertising and marketing experience in an agency environment. We seek and hire friendly go-getters who possess the five Cs: character, class, confidence, chemistry and competency. We also look for interns who are self-starters with a passion for PR, Advertising and Marketing who want to learn and gain professional experience.
INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Resourcefulness and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Basic time, budget and project management skills
- Experience/familiarity with HR systems and processes
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have precise, detailed-oriented organizational skills, excellent communication and writing abilities, and an eagerness to learn
- Must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment, and experience in an office environment
- Demonstrated passion for people, learning, and helping employees succeed
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Proven team player, with the ability to work independently as part of a team
- Agile work approach with a willingness to roll up sleeves to reach results
- Strong cultural competency and passion for diversity, inclusivity, equity, and belonging work
- Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
EDUCATION:
- Rising senior or recent graduate with Bachelor of Human Resources or related field
- 6- months prior relevant HR and program coordination experience is preferred
INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participation in brainstorming sessions
- Good communicator, keeps team members informed
- Project management and ability to work on a strict deadline
- Support the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet JS organizational development needs and program goals
- Assist with the performance appraisal and feedback programs
- Assist the coaching team on performance review process and appropriate feedback, language and documentation
- Generate surveys and assist with trainings
- Other administrative duties with JSATS including DEI, Culture & Mentor program
- Provide HR SharePoint administrative and project support
- Assist with benefit enrollment materials
- Assist with research of a new HRIS system

Internships are paid, typically last three months and may lead to full-time employment.
