DescriptionOur team is rapidly expanding, and we're searching for a driven inside sales representative You'll convert pre-qualified leads and turn former customers into repeat business. As a customer-facing sales rep, you'll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with the contractors and suppliers that build our state's infrastructure. Inside sales reps at Copeland will acquire expertise in the underground utilities sector of the construction industry. Our inside sales teammates are the face of our business, and they play a primary role in our tried-and-true recipe for success: "We succeed because our customers succeed."Responsibilities•Manage sales for both walk-in customers and telephone inquiries•Fulfill basic quote requests and send out standard submittal packs•Coordinate with teammates to advance orders through the Copeland order flow, whether at the quote, design drawings, production, or transportation stage•Build customer relationships with existing clients by reaching out via phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication to increase the likelihood of them using our services again•Maintain the customer database with updated information on past, current, and potential clients•Handle sales inquiries from pre-qualified leads and make sure client needs are taken care ofQualifications•Ability to continually learn and retain new information•Familiarity with Civil plans and/or construction industry experience preferred•Positive, problem-solving attitude•Possess superb customer service skills, listening skills, presentation skills, and communication skills•High school diploma or GED required, college experience is highly valued
