Director of Health IT/DHA
to join our growing business. The Director of the Health IT (HIT)/Defense Health Agency (DHA) will be responsible for leading the strategy and program excellence across the company’s portfolio of solutions and services delivered to a wide range of DHA customers. This position will be maintaining and creating customer relationship across DHA. This position will directly manage a team of Business Unit Program Managers & Program Directors. This position will also lead major business development and capture pursuits helping to expand Tyto’s capabilities across the DHA landscape and tangential HIT agencies.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a large profit and loss organization, planned revenue, and execution of program growth initiatives.
Responsible for all aspects of program delivery compliance and customer satisfaction.
Develop strategies to onboard new service delivery practice capabilities.
Develop efficiencies to maximize profit in all service delivery.
Recruit, develop, and train skilled delivery resources.
Provide leadership and vision to employees, motivate them to strive for achievement of business goals and objectives, and instill a culture of customer service and accountability.
Leverage existing and build new relationships to expand Tyto’s network and reputation with DHA customers as well as other key programs that have mission linkage.
Participate in proposal development from an operations and delivery perspective, taking responsibility for the management approach and program management plan, as well as participate in solutioning related to the overall technical approach and strategic pricing.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of managing a large profit and loss organization with annual revenues of $40M per year.
Proven track record of winning DHA contracts with total contract values of $50 M or greater.
Familiarity with DHA IDIQ vehicles, e.g., EITSI, GSP and use of CSP contracts along with MTEC and DIU acquisition methods and ability to develop capture strategies to optimize outcomes leveraging those various vehicles and acquisition approaches.
A minimum of 15 years’ experience supporting DHA.
Experience managing teams of 250 people or more.
Thorough understanding of customer’s missions across their entire enterprise. Intimate knowledge of the problems to be solved, domain and functional capabilities needed, and the competitive market landscape.
Experience with Private Equity a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical field. MBA or Master’s degree in technical or business field is desired.
