Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Director of Finance. This client is looking for someone with 10+ years of finance or accounting experience, 3+ years of leadership experience, and who enjoys being hands on in the business. This is a top position in a well-known and respected company, with a close-knit team culture and growth throughout the company.

The salary range for this position is$140-$170k + bonus.

The Senior Director of Finance will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and lead financial planning and analysis, including revenue forecasting, expense management, and capital allocation.
  • Prepare and review unit forecasts and budgets to ensure executive leadership, GMs, and operations.
  • Work closely with executive leadership on formulating and implementing the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives, innovation projects, strategic planning and long-term investments.
  • Prepares an overview of financial data, analyses, and results to executive leadership weekly.
  • Develop, monitor and analyze financial metrics and strategies, and develop the KPIs needed.
  • Ensures timely reporting of operating results and maintains the integrity of the management information system.
  • Provide input and leadership on issues affecting the company.
  • Monitor and manage risk and legal issues affecting the industry.
  • Prepare timely and accurate sales, use, and occupancy tax returns as well as any other external reports or returns as deemed necessary.
  • Ensure all legal, treasury, and tax documentation is properly maintained and secured.
  • Oversees Payroll administration for the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal rules, regulations and laws.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Ad hoc assignments as needed.
The Senior Director of Finance will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Previous experience overseeing 401k and payroll.
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Highly organized and ability to multi-task.
  • Able to build relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
