Vaco Boston has partnered with our client who isseeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their finance team. This will be a hybrid position with 3 days/week remote.

Responsibilities:

* Preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes and disclosures.

* Review transactions for proper revenue recognition accounting treatment

* Periodically prepare and review SEC 10-Q, 10-K; 8-K filings

* Research and resolve various accounting and SEC reporting issues and inquiries

* Liaise with the external auditors and assist with completion of the annual audit and quarterly reviews.

* Analyze financial results and create management reports

* Assist with internal control policies and procedures.

* Assist with the research and implementation of new accounting standards

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or better in Accounting, Finance or related field.

* 5+ years relevant experience, preferably with multi-tiered consolidations

* Experience with consolidated financial systems, both internal and external financial reporting and consolidated financial analysis.

* Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and auditing standards
