Our client, a large telecommunications company, is looking for a remote Content Strategist for a 1-year contract. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the consumer experience across all touchpoints for their company's products. Your expertise in conducting comprehensive gap analyses, aligning strategies, implementing change management processes, and infusing creativity into content strategies will be instrumental in optimizing the customer journey. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and communications, ultimately driving greater engagement and satisfaction among their audience.

Please note this is a remote 40-hour/week 1-year contract working any US time zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end journey mapping exercises to identify pain points, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in the consumer experience.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement content strategies that align with overarching business objectives and enhance the customer journey.
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of content strategies, making iterative improvements based on insights gathered.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new content strategies and processes across the organization.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, design, and customer support teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all customer touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain content governance frameworks to uphold quality standards and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content strategy and consumer experience optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in content strategy, journey mapping, and consumer experience optimization, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform content strategies and decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovative approaches to content creation.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with UX/UI principles and design thinking methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of content strategy and consumer experience optimization.
