Duties also include but are not limited to: negotiating with equipment vendors, material vendors, subcontractors and service providers, while consulting with corporate attorneys and senior management when necessary. Responsibilities Oversees and plans all aspects of supply chain from pre-bid, through estimating to closeout. Manages all supply chain disciplines on a project such as Material Control, Category Buying, Expediting, Supplier Quality Surveillance, Logistics and Material Management. Monitors and oversees execution of the procurement buy-out. Negotiates commercial terms and conditions with equipment vendors, material vendors, professional service providers and subcontractors; consult with corporate attorneys and senior management to minimize project and corporate risk while maintaining commercial competitiveness. Coordinates activities with Category Lead Buyers and plans manpower. Mentors and trains supply chain staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed. Must have experience as a Project Manager Supply Chain for EPC projects.

Experience as a Project Manager Supply Chain for Oil, Gas & Chemicals market with a proven track record of successfully executed projects in the Offshore space is required. Willingness to go to a project for 6 months is required for this role, plus travel up to 20% when returning back to Houston office. Knowledge of equipment and materials common in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects for OGC projects. Detail-oriented, flexible and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Effective time management and organizational skills with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately. Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives. Strong leadership and people management skills.
