As a member of the Advisory Services Team, the Senior Solutions Architect - Banking Applications utilizes a collaborative, consultative and customer centric approach to deliver adaptive consulting services that focus on customized solutions that meet the complex technology needs of community banks.
By leveraging an in-depth understanding of core banking and related financial technology products, the Senior Solutions Architect is key to solving multi-faceted challenges and aligning technology solutions that fulfill on the many of the competitive requirements of community banks.
The trust and confidence created by this role will translate into tangible business growth outcomes for UFS including incremental add-on product sales (monthly recurring revenue), professional services / consulting revenue (one-time) and new business wins.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide adaptive consultative solutioning services to customers, prospects, and team members
- Partner with customers to understand their business objectives and provide suggestions for standard products, services and customized solutions that empower them to meet their goals
- Partner with GTM team in a consultative capacity to provide expertise when the need for adaptive solutions is identified
- Collaborate with the Relationship Management teams to provide expertise on banking applications as needed for current customers
- Create incremental revenue streams for UFS by providing high value consulting services, product recommendations and the identification of 3rd party partnership opportunities for UFS.
- Effectively communicate UFS bank application product and service strategy and roadmap direction to customers and prospects
- Influence UFS product strategy by effectively communicating feedback from customers and prospects, as well as working with the product team to develop new product features
- Develop frameworks for the communication of the adaptive consulting process, technical discovery and evaluation, and solution alternatives
- Identify opportunities for new products, partners, technology, integrations, and features to grow/expand the existing UFS product set
- Document customer solution and project requirements for the sales process
- Improve the win-rate for new business Banking Application opportunities through directly engaging in select prospect opportunities
- Coordinate closely with business development, technical teams, relationship management, product, and support groups to align solution design with customers' business requirements in a way that leverages UFS' competitive advantage
- Drives sales process improvement through instruction and mentorship to technical, relationship and sales team members to enhance product knowledge and technical sales skills

- 15+ years of direct experience working with banking application and core processing technology
- 10+ years' experience working with Community Banks to solve technology and operational challenges
- Extensive understanding of banking operation areas including new customer onboarding, branch banking, digital banking, payment processing and payment networks, item processing, compliance/regulatory reporting, loan and deposit onboarding and other areas
- Knowledge of core banking vendor and fintech landscape is desirable
- Technical degree in related field is desired
