Job Summary

The Quote Coordinator is responsible for generating service quotations for the Forklift Service Department and Dock & Door Service Department, in response to requests from Service Technicians and Customers. This pivotal role requires proactive engagement between the Service and Parts Departments to ensure quotes are delivered promptly, ideally within a 3-5 day time frame, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Job Responsibilities

•Log new quotes in an Excel Spreadsheet and update status daily.

•Organize and maintain all quote-related documents, including approvals, requests, and images, within designated customer folders.

•Collaborate closely with the parts and service departments, monitoring the progression of quotes.

•Communicate effectively with Technicians, Dispatchers, and Parts Associates to facilitate the completion of quotes.

•Prepare quotes for customer presentation, meticulously analyzing scope of work descriptions and pricing for accuracy.

•Communicate promptly and professionally with customers via email and phone throughout the quote presentation and approval process.

•Regularly follow up with sales representatives to track the status of quotes and address any outstanding issues, ensuring high rates of quote approval.

Requirements

•2 to 3 years' service quote experience or project management experience preferred.

•Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, technology driven, service environment.

•Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.

•Must be able to communicate effectively, verbal, and written, with management, co-workers, and customers.

•High School Diploma required.

•The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
