Healthcare Claims Assistant II

HOW A HEALTHCARE CLAIMS ASSISTANT II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Processes orthodontic prior approval requests in an accurate and timely manner.
● Preparing all documentation and orthodontic study models for review
● Researching recipient Medicaid eligibility
● Researching prior approval history
● Keying case review outcomes
● Tracking orthodontic inventory
● Preparing cases to return to orthodontic providers
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: High School Diploma/GED
● Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficient (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word); data entry
● Security Clearance Level: none
● Required Skills and Abilities: superior organizational workflow skills (ability to work through large volumes quickly while staying organized)
● Preferred Skills: Dental/Orthodontic office experience is a plus; Medicaid/NCTracks experience is a plus
● Location: Hybrid (1 week per month on site; the rest is remote)
