Job Overview:

We are seeking a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our client's team, based in Cedar Knolls, NJ. This role is crucial in expanding their client base and enhancing relationships with existing clients in the forensic engineering industry. The BDE will be the primary link between their clients and technical experts, ensuring their services align with client needs.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and strengthen relationships to grow business from both new and existing clients. Spend 40%o(MISSING)f time acquiring new client relationships and 60%e(MISSING)nhancing current ones. Schedule and conduct client meetings to foster business relationships. Attend and actively participate in conferences and networking events. Organize and manage speaking presentations to highlight our services. Oversee sponsorships with professional organizations within the sales territory. Handle incoming leads and inquiries effectively. Collaborate with experts to develop and execute strategic sales plans. Stay updated with industry developments to identify new business opportunities. Requirements include: Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience:

3-5 years in business development or sales, particularly in a professional services environment. Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication, client relations, and meticulous attention to detail. Certifications:

Not required, but relevant certifications in sales or marketing are beneficial. Knowledge:

Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Oracle/NetSuite experience is a plus. Key Competencies:

Integrity, independence, teamwork, multi-tasking ability, and excellent follow-through skills. Additional Information:

This position is located in Northern New Jersey, with about 20%t(MISSING)ravel primarily within New York State. It offers the flexibility to travel and the opportunity to grow professional relationships through direct client interactions and participation in industry events.
