Job Responsibilities:
  • Support in month-end and year-end close process including account reconciliations, preparing/posting of journal entries, general ledger account analysis and review of AP voucher general ledger coding
  • Preparation of internal financial reports
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
  • Tax and compliance management (timely filing of annual reports, registrations, and office/firm licenses)
  • Assist with insurance renewals, annual financial audits and tax return preparations
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned
  • Other projects, as requested
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
  • Detail oriented with exceptional analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Handles multiple tasks and projects at once and meet deadlines
  • Completes tasks/assignments/commitments in an accurate and timely manner
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with Deltek and/or Prophix software
  • CPA or CPA candidate
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card

The compensation range for a Senior Accountant is between $70,000 to $105,000. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location
