Software Engineering Manager - Enterprise Integrations

Why We Have This Role

Teams at Qualtrics depend on accurate and current data in the systems they use to do their jobs. As we've grown, so has the number of critical systems and connections needed between them. Our Enterprise Integrations team will help bridge the gap between our applications by building scalable and resilient integrations. The team lead will build our team, be a technical expert on the critical integration points across our systems, design fault-tolerant workflows to connect them, insist on a high bar for everything we produce, and work with stakeholders across the company to build what we need.

How You'll Find Success

  • Thinking big: As the lead of the Enterprise Integrations team, you'll understand our entire application landscape, and you'll be able to build integrations that have a company-wide impact.
  • Customer-obsessed: You'll think like our employees and see through their eyes. You'll design integrations that solve the most impactful problems and create experiences our employees did not even know were possible.
  • Excellent communicator: You'll meet with stakeholders across the company to understand what could make their life easier. You'll translate a non-technical discussion into a technical design for the team.
  • Growth mindset: The application space changes rapidly. What worked last year may not work this year. In this role, you'll be excited to keep up with new developments across our systems landscape and new tools to build better integrations. We won't always get it right; when we don't, we'll learn from it.
  • Operationally excellent: You'll hold a high bar for the team, driving a culture of quality and resilience that produces integrations that delight our customers and the employees at Qualtrics.
  • Know your stuff: You'll be an expert in the space, and your designs will reflect that. You'll consider speed, resilience, and scalability, and you'll build solutions that last.
How You'll Grow
  • You'll be working with best-in-class tools to build integrations.
  • You'll have a front-row seat to see how a growth company scales its business and processes.
  • You'll build a team and develop senior talent, giving you the ability to expand your scope.
Things You'll Do
  • Improve our employees' experience by designing and building integrations between our critical systems.
  • Work closely with our stakeholders to understand their pain points.
  • Drive operational reviews and post-mortems to improve the quality of what we do.
  • Centralize and re-architect legacy integrationsBuild our new team.
What We're Looking For On Your Resume
  • BS degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • 5+ years experience as a Software Developer.
  • Experience with Enterprise Service Bus or iPaaS technologies
  • Experience as a people manager is preferred but not required
What You Should Know About This Team
  • This is a new team, and your input will be critical to the team's start
  • As the lead, you'll wear a lot of hats, so expect to be a player/coach
Our Team's Favorite Perks and Benefits
  • Wellness Reimbursement - $300 per quarter for activities including gym memberships, massages, workout equipment, meditation apps, and more
  • Experience Bonus ($1500/year) to use on an experience of your choice
