Comprehensive Mobile Care is searching for a dedicated Optometrist to join our mobile healthcare team in Cleveland, OH. As an Optometrist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive eye care services directly to patients' homes and community facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating a variety of visual disorders, conducting eye exams, and prescribing corrective lenses. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions while prescribing appropriate treatments.
- Provide prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses based on patient needs.
- Educate patients regarding ocular health, vision correction options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health record systems.
- Adjust examination methodologies to suit the mobile care environment effectively.
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active licensure to practice as an optometrist in Ohio.
- Prior experience in a clinical or mobile healthcare setting is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of common ocular diseases and treatment methods.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient engagements effectively.
- Dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all patients.
