This position is in Alexandria VA.Responsibilities:Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:Assist with the development and maintenance of acquisition strategy, plans and schedules including assisting with aligning plans and/or tailoring plans and schedules to the requirements of the DoD 5000 Develop strategies for Milestone Decision Authority approval including acquisition streamlining and tailoring for decision briefingsAssist in the development, as appropriate, of acquisition documents and products as required by the program’s life cycle and acquisition pathway to ensure compliance with Navy, Marine Corps, and DOD acquisition policiesAssist in procurement actions; Develop and maintain procurement requirements (scope, delivery schedule, budget); draft and staff Procurement Requests (PRs) and documentation components as required to execute FAR based procurements and/or develop similar purpose documentation as required by the Program Manager or Procurement OfficerProvide support in developing, tracking and reporting current and out year budgets, as well as maintain the internal execution data including program requirements and spend plans. Assist the PM with annual spend plan formulation and budgeting; Assist with development and maintenance of budget exhibits and POM issues and estimates development; Prepare accurate and impactful reclammas to aid in decision making.QualificationsRequired:Over 5 years’ experience in acquisition support rolesPrior support experience in a DoD systems acquisition organizationExperience working on classified programsMust be able to multi-task, respond to quick turn-around requests, and produce quality product with minimal oversightMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsDesired:10+ years’ experience in acquisition support roles and relevant organizational experienceKnowledge of Navy acquisition process and maritime operationsOPNAV and/or Naval PMO experienceDAWIA Level IIEducational Requirements: Bachelor's degree (e.g., any, Master’s degree desired)10 years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degreeClearance Requirements:Active Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility#MTSI#LI-JW1
