As the Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all electrical activities to ensure they meet safety standards, project specifications, and deadlines. Responsibilities: -Plan, schedule, and supervise the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems within the parking garage project. -Coordinate with the project manager, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project components. -Review electrical plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure compliance with local building codes and project requirements. -Manage the procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and tools necessary for the project. -Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues, safety hazards, and quality concerns, and take appropriate corrective actions. -Provide leadership and guidance to the electrical team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. -Monitor project progress, budget, and resource allocation, and report updates to the project stakeholders. -Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot complex electrical problems and develop effective solutions. -Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on the job site. -Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including reports, schedules, and budgets. Requirements: -Journeyman electrician or State Licensed -Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction -Successfully managing electrical projects with a minimum project value of $2 million or more -Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects, preferably in commercial construction. -Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices. -Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. -Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical specifications. -Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, project management software, and AutoCAD. -Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Valid electrical contractor license and OSHA certification preferred. -Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required to meet project deadlines.
