Benefits include:11 paid holidays1 personal holiday4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) to startHalf-day Fridays during SummerCompany-matched 401(k) Retirement Plan that is fully-vested immediatelyEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)MedicalDental VisionKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIESMonitor incoming requests for IT support; provide technical support and guidance to users in a hybrid work environmentSet up and maintain computers, peripherals and communications equipment; assist in the installation and maintenance of network hardware and softwareApply safeguards to protect the security of systems and applicationsTroubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems; coordinate the repair of printersDetermine hardware and software needs and make recommendations; purchase and maintain records for approved IT hardware, software, support and serviceParticipate in the development, maintenance and execution of IT policies, procedures, documentation, training materials and budgets; ensure systems and licensing are compliant with security policies, procedures and standardsTrain employees, interns, independent contractors and volunteers in the acceptable and secure use of the organization's computer and telecommunications resourcesMaintain inventory of computer hardware and softwareAdminister user accounts and control access to system stored data and informationMonitor server backups and coordinate off-site tape storageSupport a variety of business applicationsCoordinate activities with vendors and othersParticipate in special projects to monitor, maintain and improve network systems and processesDevelop and maintain technical skills so they are current with existing and emerging technologies and practicesFollow guidance and direction from the Network and Systems Administrator LeadBackup and support other IT staff members as neededCollaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of the Cascade PBSOther duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without noticeREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIESAbility to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network problemsAbility to deliver quality customer service while remaining security mindedAbility to handle and prioritize simultaneous requests for assistanceStrong attention to detailEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCETechnical Degree or equivalent experience required Three years' experience working in a fast-paced IT business environment providing desktop and network support requiredDemonstrated experience with the following required:Configuring and deploying PC and Mac endpoints in a hybrid work environmentApplying safeguards to computers, peripherals and network equipment to protect the security of systems and dataSupporting and administering Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments with Windows and Mac endpointsUtilizing endpoint management systems for deploying and administering endpointsSupporting and administering Microsoft ExchangeSupporting Microsoft business applications and a variety of database driven business applicationsSupporting mobile devices and VOIP systemsSupporting printer infrastructureAdministering data backup programsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility and carry 30 pounds unassistedAbility to climb, twist, bend, kneel, crawl and reach above head as requiredAbility to sit and type on a keyboard for long periods of timeKnowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand tools to support IT Ability to work in noisy, cold environment periodicallyAbility to work some evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call shiftsAbility to travel to remote sites periodically The hiring process for this role will include a phone screen and a virtual or in-person panel interview.
