  • Solution Development: Assist in creating new processes or technical solutions to meet business needs for both projects and daily operations.
  • BI Tools Utilization: Develop management reports and financial analyses using BI tools such as IBM Cognos, Tableau, and Business Objects. Create SQL-based queries to facilitate data analysis.
  • Model Development: Work with the BI Solutions team to create data analysis models and generate reports from various data sources.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Address ad-hoc data analysis requests from end-users, managing timelines via ticketing systems like ServiceNow and JIRA.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with BI Strategy, IT, accounting teams, and end-users to ensure comprehensive understanding and effective communication of business requirements.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve data and application issues, analyze impacts, strategize solutions, and ensure thorough testing and reconciliation of reports.
  • BI Readiness Assessment: Evaluate the BI readiness of business areas and conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to implement BI solutions from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:Required:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a professional services firm or in business intelligence.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases. Familiarity with BI tools such as Cognos Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL Server.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Preferred:
  • Financial Analysis Experience: Previous experience in financial analysis.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated technical and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Elite 3E: Familiarity with Elite 3E is a plus.
