Job Title: Buyer/Expediter
Location: Florida, FL
Pay Range: $23-35/hr (based on experience)
What's the Job?
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers, soliciting bids and negotiating best prices.
- Analyze proposals, recommend vendors, and secure approvals for purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
- Bachelor's degree (or 7 years of experience) in a related field.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
- US Citizenship required.
