We are seeking a Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to help with process design and leading tecnical tasks for water, wastewater, and reuse projects in our growing NYC operation.

Responsibilities:
Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of various sizes

Responsible for design and leading technical tasks within a project, within budget, schedule, and meeting the project's contractual obligations and quality standards

Works on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and prepares cost estimates for various water projects

Prepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and supporting design engineering services through the construction phase on the projects.

Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments

Provides client services by delivering technically sound projects 

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

6-12 years of water project experience.

Experience includes water/wastewater/reuse treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, collection systems, pump stations, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning

Registration as a Professional Engineer in New York

Must have demonstrated experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects with responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team

Work well in a team environment

Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering

Design and construction phase experience

Direct experience working with NYCDEP

Pay Range:
$115,000 to $130,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
