**Heres what we need:**

This position is responsible for in-store technology across our restaurants while managing a team of technical professionals.

**What youll be doing:**

* Provides technical leadership and serves as the subject matter expert as it relates to all facets of point of sale, digital sales, peripheral, back office solutions, above store reporting and system interface while demonstrating experience in improving restaurant operations, introducing new and creative application of technology.

* Develops and leads a team of highly skilled technology professionals tasked with supporting strategic initiatives as well as promoting new processes and procedures that enhance the return on investment made in our in-store technologies. Individual development plans for direct reports and key staff are required as a living document.

* Partners with cross functional teams on New Restaurant Openings to ensure full interoperability and efficiency.

* Assists with managing department G&A budget to include staff, service and business partner expenses within established guidelines and budgets.

* Provides input on IT strategic plan, contributes to the development of the annual IT budget, and manages a relevant component of the IT budget. This includes creation of high-level staffing plans, forecasting annual capital and expense for projects, and preparing cost benefit analysis.

* Supports and maintains all regulated and internal compliance requirements, (PCI, EMV, CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). In addition, partners with cross functional teams to advance IT management for maintaining compliance across all spectrums of in-store technology.

* Manages vendor partners to deliver projects, resolves issues, and achieves budget requirements.

* Follows up on warranties and repairs done internally or through vendor partners.

* Tracks and monitors status of assigned tasks.

* Collaborates, partners, and facilitates priority setting across functional teams of business users.

* Provides support to all restaurants, support, and HQ office personnel. On-call responsibilities may require 24x7 availability. Responsibilities will potentially be shared with vendor partners and internal teams.

* Establish appropriate support structure for restaurants including Help Desk Level 1-3, field technicians and depot support.

**QUE-SOheres what youll need:**

* Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in the areas of information technology, systems, engineering, or business

* 10+ years of experience with restaurant systems including point-of-sale, kitchen display and back-office systems

* Strong knowledge and experience with restaurant operations as well as a strong technical working knowledge of restaurant systems including but not limited to all facets of point-of-sale, back-office, scheduling and payment systems

* Experience with CrunchTime, Compeat, NetSuite as well as Restaurant POS Systems such as NorthStar POS, NCR Aloha POS, Micros, Toast, Brink and Payment Systems such as Heartland, Chase, First Data, Ingenico, Verifone, PAX, preferred

* Experience managing restaurant systems across a broad network of locations

* Strong knowledge on information security and key processes/procedures to help manage risk associated with data loss and cyber threats

* Superior integrity and communication skills (both verbal and written), resilience, service orientation, and a collaborative influence style

* Well organized with ability to multitask

* Ability to travel within the market and support center or locations

* Ability to be on-call

* Ability to have a flexible work schedule to support business needs and special projects

* Ability to meet the physical requirements of daily tasks (Must be able to type for long periods of time, lift 50lbs, and ability to stand for long periods of time, etc.)
