This position works alongside the Food & Beverage Manager. This position is an hourly wage plus gratuity position and would be a full-time position.

As the hotel shift manager, you will be in charge of guiding the staff during breakfast and evening operations, assigning tasks to hotel personnel, ensuring food safety and hotel policy is adhered to, and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. Responsibilities

•Ensure high guest satisfaction in all service areas by directing staff and assisting guests to ensure everyone has a great experience
•Supervise food in the area and ensure buffet items are full, hot and fresh
•Implement cleaning and other projects if needed/as needed in the breakfast or atrium area
•Communicate with the Food & Beverage director on areas of opportunity with the team
•Assist in shift duties where needed
•Review completed items with each hotel team member before they depart the breakfast or restaurant area
•Assist in inventory management if needed
•Assist in other duties as the business needs

Qualifications

•Previous Supervisory or Shift/Crew lead experience in the food industry
•A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred
•Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired
•Prior hospitality experience is required, as well as the ability to perform different hotel employee roles
•Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
