We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Analyst to join the Customer Engagement Portfolio team. As a Technical Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting feature enhancements, defects, product and platform enhancements, maintenance, and life-cycle management for a suite of online solution applications. These applications encompass various web, batch, and middleware technologies, servicing as vital components of this company's customer engagement strategy.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in working with software-based development teams, preferably in a technical analyst or similar role
  • Strong technical background with proficiency in C#, SQL queries, database tools and technologies, and APIs
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with cross-disciplinary teams and business groups

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly across different audiences
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Requirements
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with leading software projects
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Containers, Cloud, Application Scaling, infrastructure, and servers
  • Working knowledge of utility operating company business unit rules and processes
  • Experience with Oracle database
Essential Functions
  • Provide technical support across all functional areas and teams within the Customer Engagement Portfolio, including researching and evaluating work generated by agile scrum delivery teams
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance Analysts to define and instrument success criteria, measured through qualitative and quantitative feedback, and identify growth opportunities for the assigned functional area
  • Ensure life-cycle support for product platforms, including servers, databases, application framework upgrades, retirement, replacement, etc.
  • Conduct technical scope and impact analysis for agile teams, offering insights to guide decision-making and prioritization
  • Proactively gather feedback from end-users to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Build and manage personal relationships within the IT organization, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business objectives
  • Act as a subject matter expert, acquiring deep technical product and business knowledge to support Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance Analysts
  • Analyze initiatives, epics, features, enhancements, and defects, assisting in writing clear user stories and success criteria from development and QA perspectives
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new skills and rapidly changing solutions within the technology landscape
  • Document user requirements and develop solutions to meet business objectives, ensuring clarity and alignment with stakeholders
  • Plan, monitor, organize, and oversee projects, ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Conduct tests or investigations on all application issues, recommending and providing resolutions as needed
  • Provide enhancements to all applications and support third-party software tools as required
  • Perform other tasks as required
