Summary:

As a member of the Finance organization, you will support the forecasting and budgeting activities across the entire firm as well as creating and enhancing reports which drive the business forward. You will develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our finance systems supporting the needs, both functional and technical, across PMA. You will have the opportunity to advise on a broad range of business issues and continually improve financial and operational processes.

Description:

Lead the monthly revenue forecasting process performing ongoing development and enhancement activities across the firm

Evaluate monthly financial performance across multiple offices/departments across the firm compared to annual budget and provide variance analysis related to same

Collaborate with Accounting providing direction on GL coding, reclassification entries and other ongoing or ad-hoc adjustments

Identify, devise, and implement financial system enhancements in partnership with operations, finance and IT

Prepare dashboards, visualizations, presentations, and reporting packages for senior leadership

Establish and foster partnerships across Corporate Services, GMs, client leadership and Board members

Explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear status updates

Correlate large amounts of financial data into meaningful cross-functional business discussions

Provide support for various financial systems utilized across the firm

Deliver on key deadlines with the highest level of quality and accuracy

Key Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant work experience of robust financial analysis in a fast-paced environment

Data & Analysis

Demonstrated experience with creating / co-creating annual budgeting, both revenue and cost, across a multi-location business

Experience working with large sets of data and familiarity with best practices for data cleanliness/integrity

Assess and prioritize large amounts of conflicting data quickly and confidently

Strong documentation skills – clear, concise, detailed, and accurate

Advanced Excel skills

Leadership

Ability to build relationships and lead meetings with General Managers, office leadership, and executives providing a framework for growing sophistication paired with accountability

Demonstrated experience as a super user within financial systems with an explicit interest in delivering expanded support across the firm within both technical and non-technical capacities

Ability to explain concepts and articulate your expert opinion across various levels and to both finance and non-finance partners alike within the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Deltek, Vena, UKG and/or Concur

Experience implementing and/or maintaining financial systems as a system administrator

CPA or equivalent

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Accounting or Finance

Compensation Range:

Salary: $90-120K

Annual Bonus Potential: 5%
