They specialize in treating the most complex/severe brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations and rare forms of cancer. Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key leadership role in financial analysis, providing strategic insights and driving continuous improvement.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex financial analysis, including building and maintaining financial models, developing financial projections and forecasts and creating insightful reports and presentations
  • Utilize a variety of financial and encounter reporting tools and data sources
  • Partner with the finance team to develop and update the Long Range Financial Plan model
  • Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate potential impacts on operational performance, liquidity and financial leverage
  • Assist the treasury team with cash management, investment analysis and ensuring debt compliance
  • Provide critical support and analysis during the annual budget preparation process
  • Perform financial risk assessments and conduct care/cost variation analysis, potentially using advanced statistical techniques
  • Oversee financial and market analysis for internal initiatives and external business development opportunities
  • Stay abreast of industry trends through ongoing learning via industry publications, conferences and professional forums
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency
  • Prepare monthly management reports, clearly communicating financial trends and potential business impacts
  • Mentor and guide junior Financial Analysts, fostering their professional development


Senior Financial Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior financial analyst role
  • Proven ability to lead complex financial analysis and modeling projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel) and financial reporting tools
  • Experience with relevant healthcare financial data and reporting systems a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
